What is your maximum guest count?
What is required to book my date?
50% of your package total secures your date. The balance is due 30 days out from your event.
What is the alcohol policy?

Are candles allowed?
We are a flameless facility, battery operated candles only. No bug candles or torches. We do allow sparkler send offs.
Can we use our own vendors?
If using a DJ, you must choose from our contracted DJs. (no exceptions). These are our two contracted DJs: * Kristin Raley with KC Karaoke and DJ services * Cole Maddox with Maddox Multimedia. If a DJ is not in your budget, you can rent our portable BOSE system for $50. All other vendors can be anyone you choose.
Can we use the kitchen for food prep?
Do you have an ice maker?
We do not. There is a Shell station nearby. There is also a free standing ice machine 1.5 miles north of The Venue on Dawes Rd.
What size is the fridge?
It is a side by side. The refrigerated side is 17” wide
What size is the warming oven?
The oven is a little smaller than a standard oven, the interior measures 17" x 17" and has two adjustable racks. There is also a warming tray underneath.

Can I add rental items to my package later?
Do we need a parking attendant?
If your guest count exceeds 80, we require that you book a parking attendant and a law enforcement officer through us. The total for both is $150 and covers 3.5 hours.
If I rent decorations from you, do you put them out for me?
Yes! Not only that but you never have to touch them, we will collect those items at the end of your event.
Can I go up to the next package later?
You may, however, there is always the risk of someone else booking that time.
Can I have a rehearsal and rehearsal dinner the night before?
Our two-day package allows for this. Our all-day package (whether booked on Fri or Sat) can reserve time on Thurs night for a rehearsal and rehearsal dinner with 2 hour minimum. Fridays are reserved for weddings.
What about mosquitos?
Mosquito season runs from April to early Oct. We can have the property treated the week of your wedding. The cost of that is $80. And it works!!!
How late can I add add-on items?
Additional items from the rental room can be rented up to the week prior to wedding.
Can my caterer access the property early?
No one is allowed access to the property prior to your rental times. If you need additional time for your Photographer, DJ, caterer, etc. to setup you can add additional hours to your event for $135 per hour.
What about setting up and breaking down tables and chairs?
We will meet with you approximately 30 days prior to your wedding to discuss how you want these items set up. All the tables and chairs are in place when you arrive on your wedding day. After your event we will pick up all tables and chairs.
What if I decide to change my date or event package?
You will lose your deposit if you move to another date or downgrade your package. This is because we will have turned away business for the date and times you originally booked.
Does the kitchen have any pots, pans or serving pieces?
Our kitchen is completely unfurnished. If you use it for prep please be sure and bring everything you may need. Some suggestions are: large mixing bowls, pot holders, pans to warm, spoons, knives, can opener, cutting board, paper towels, dish clothes, etc.
Do you allow same sex marriages?
Because of our religious beliefs we do not host same sex weddings and receptions, however we will happy to host any other type of event for you.
